Typing Instructions

The full paper submission of the IAES-19 will be only accepted by a PDF file. The full paper must be submitted by September 30, 2008. When submitting the full paper, a completed Copyright Transfer Form should also be included.

All the fonts should be embedded in the PDF file. If the fonts are not embedded, the characters on the document might be garbled when viewed or printed.
By using embedded fonts, the author ensures that the document will display and print exactly as it was intended.

In order to ensure a uniform layout, the typing instructions given below should be kept with reference to the followed sample paper.

  1. Form of the manuscript

All papers should be written in English. The complete manuscript for presentation must be prepared in six or eight (maximum) pages. The page limit has to be strictly obeyed. The paper should be typed by single spacing inside the area of 17 x 25 cm on one side of plain white papers of size about 21 x 30 cm. Preferable margins are 25 mm for top & bottom and 20 mm in both sides for A4 format. In the manuscript, Times or Times New Roman font is suggested. • Title of the paper.
    • Name of authors. Neither honorary titles nor profession should be mentioned.
    • Name of organization (possibly abbreviated) of authors.
    • Address of the organization.
    • Abstract of the paper (200-300 words).
    • Key Words (about 3-8 topic words)

  2. Layout of the text

The titles of chapters should be typed in capitals and entered. The sub-headings of sections should be typed from the extreme left edge and typed in capitals and lowercase letters. The chapter-titles and section-subheadings should be underlined. The text should be single-spaced and the end of each paragraph should be separated from following indented line by a double space. Formulae should be numbered, e.g., (5).References should be typed at the end of the paper and numbered as in shown order.

  3. Figures and tables

Figures, including drawings and photographs, should be numbered (e.g., Fig. 1, Fig. 2, …). All figures should be referred in the text by spelling out “Figure”, capitalizing the first letter. Figures must be inserted into the running text and should be centered in the page. Figures should have a caption appearing at the bottom of the figure; the caption should be typed from the extreme left edge, and typed in upper and lowercase letters with initials capitalized, and ending with a period. Leave 1 blank line after the caption.

Tables should be also numbered (e.g., Table 1, Table 2, …) and have captions at the top of the tables.
